Welcome to BBQN4U. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of bbqn4u.net (the “Website”) and your purchase of catering, food, delivery, setup, staffing, rental coordination, or related services from BBQN4U (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Website, requesting or accepting a quote, paying a deposit, placing an order, or booking Services, you agree to these Terms.
In these Terms, “BBQN4U,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to [BBQN4U], doing business as BBQN4U. “Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person or organization using the Website or purchasing Services.
All quotes are based on the event details provided by the Client, including the date, time, location, menu, guest count, service style, staffing needs, and requested equipment. Unless a quote states otherwise, it is an estimate and does not reserve an event date.
A booking is confirmed only after BBQN4U has received all required items identified in the written quote, invoice, or catering agreement, which may include a signed agreement, an approved proposal, and a deposit or other payment. Availability is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed in writing.
Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, BBQN4U may revise a quote before it is accepted due to changes in availability, ingredient costs, labor costs, taxes, venue requirements, or event details.
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may be subject to applicable sales tax, service charges, delivery fees, staffing fees, gratuities, rental costs, venue fees, travel fees, or other charges shown in the Client’s quote or invoice.
A service charge is not a gratuity unless the quote or invoice expressly identifies it as one. Additional Services or costs requested or incurred after booking may be added to the final balance.
Transportation fee
The transportation fee covers gas, mileage, packing, and transportation of food and related items to the confirmed delivery or event location.
| Destination | Fee |
| Fewer than 40 miles | $30.00 |
| 41 miles or farther | $1.00 per mile |
Mileage is calculated using the route and starting location customarily used by BBQN4U and will be confirmed in the Client’s quote or invoice. Parking, tolls, or special access costs may be charged separately when applicable.
The service preparation fee covers Services rendered, the amount of food ordered, the extent of preparation and cooking required, ingredients, cooking techniques, shopping, special orders, presentation, time spent, and oversight of the culinary aspects of the order or event.
The service preparation fee is $50.00 per hour, with a three-hour minimum, for a minimum charge of $150.00.
Warmer rentals include chafing fuel and are charged per rack:
Warmer type | Price per rack | Lid |
Wire rack | $3.00 | Not included |
Metal rack | $5.00 | Included |
Custom rack | $10.00 | Included |
Rental items remain the property of BBQN4U and must be returned as agreed. Replacement or damage charges may apply under Section 11.
A deposit equal to 50% of the total quoted cost is required when the catering contract is signed. The event date is not secured until BBQN4U receives the signed contract and required deposit. The deposit is applied toward the total event cost.
The remaining estimated balance is due seven days before the event. Any added charges resulting from a higher-than-guaranteed guest count, additional food or beverages, extra Services, rental damage, or a longer service duration are due at the end of the event unless BBQN4U agrees otherwise in writing.
The Client is responsible for making all payments by the stated deadlines. If payment is not received as required, BBQN4U may suspend preparation, decline to provide Services, cancel the booking, pursue lawful collection or legal remedies, and charge interest on the unpaid balance at the rate stated in the contract or the maximum lawful rate, whichever is lower. The Client is responsible for lawful chargeback and returned-payment fees to the extent permitted by law.
The fees and pricing quoted are estimates based on the Client’s guaranteed minimum guest count and guaranteed service duration. The Client must provide the final guaranteed guest count and confirm the required service duration by the deadline stated in the quote or catering agreement.
If more guests are served or BBQN4U’s Services are required beyond the guaranteed duration, BBQN4U may charge a fair and reasonable amount for the additional food, beverages, labor, rentals, and Services provided. These additional charges are due at the end of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If fewer guests attend or less service time is ultimately needed, the Client will still be charged according to the guaranteed minimum guest count and guaranteed service duration.
Requests to increase the guest count, modify the menu, change the event time or location, add Services, or alter the service style are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. BBQN4U may decline changes that cannot reasonably be accommodated. Material changes may require an updated quote or agreement.
If the Client does not provide a final guest count by the stated deadline, BBQN4U may use the most recent count provided or the estimated count stated in the accepted quote.
The Client must submit all cancellations and postponement requests in writing. Deposit refunds are determined by the date BBQN4U receives written notice:
Written notice received | Deposit refund |
31 days or more before the event | 100% |
7 to 30 days before the event | 50% |
Fewer than 7 days before the event | No refund |
A request to move an event to another date is subject to BBQN4U’s availability and is not effective until confirmed in writing. Changes in pricing may apply. Amounts paid for completed Services or nonrecoverable, event-specific costs may be withheld from any refund to the extent permitted by law and disclosed in the Client’s catering agreement.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
Menu items and ingredients are subject to availability. BBQN4U may make a reasonably comparable substitution when an item becomes unavailable or when circumstances outside our reasonable control affect supply. We will notify the Client of a material substitution when reasonably practicable.
Photographs on the Website are illustrative. Presentation, portions, colors, garnishes, and ingredients may vary by order, season, availability, service style, and venue conditions.
The Client must disclose all known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special meal requests in writing before the deadline stated in the quote or catering agreement. BBQN4U will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accepted requests but cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.
Food may be prepared, stored, transported, or served in environments where common allergens are present, including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. The Client is responsible for communicating relevant allergen information to guests and
for ensuring that guests with severe allergies make appropriate decisions. Guests with life-threatening allergies should exercise particular caution and contact BBQN4U before consuming any food.
Delivery and service times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. The Client must provide accurate event and delivery information, safe and timely access to the venue, an authorized onsite contact, and any necessary loading, parking, elevator, kitchen, power, water, shelter, or workspace access.
The Client is responsible for obtaining venue approval and any permits or permissions assigned to the Client in the written agreement. Delays, extra labor, parking expenses, access restrictions, venue rules, or conditions not disclosed before booking may result in additional charges.
For outdoor events, the Client must provide a suitable weather backup plan and safe working conditions. BBQN4U may stop or modify Services if weather, fire restrictions, unsafe conditions, or venue requirements create a risk to guests, staff, food, or equipment.
The service preparation fee is $50.00 per hour, with a three-hour minimum, for a minimum charge of $150.00.
BBQN4U follows applicable food-safety and sanitation requirements. For safety and quality, food should be served, consumed, refrigerated, or discarded within the time communicated by BBQN4U or required by applicable guidance.
Once food has been delivered, placed under the Client’s control, removed from temperature control, or taken from the event as leftovers, the Client assumes responsibility for its handling, storage, reheating, and consumption. BBQN4U may decline to release or package food when doing so would create a food-safety concern.
The Client is responsible for the conduct of the Client’s guests, vendors, and invitees. The Client must provide a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for BBQN4U personnel. BBQN4U may stop Services or leave the event if staff face threats, harassment, violence, illegal activity, dangerous conditions, or unreasonable interference. The Client remains responsible for amounts due and for costs or damages caused by the Client, guests, vendors, or invitees, to the extent permitted by law.
Rental items and BBQN4U property must be returned in the condition in which they were provided, ordinary wear excepted. The Client may be charged for items that are lost, damaged, destroyed, or not made available for pickup as agreed. Third-party rental terms may also apply when disclosed to the Client.
Neither party will be liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond that party’s reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, epidemic or public-health restrictions, utility or transportation failures, government orders, labor disruptions, venue closure, or supplier interruption.
If such an event affects performance, BBQN4U may propose a reasonable substitution, revised service plan, rescheduled date, or credit. Any refund will be determined after deducting nonrecoverable costs and amounts for Services already performed, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.
The Website is provided on an “as available” basis. BBQN4U makes reasonable efforts to keep Website information accurate but does not warrant that every description, price, image, date, or other item will always be complete, current, or error-free. Catering commitments are controlled by the final written quote, invoice, or catering agreement accepted by BBQN4U and the Client.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBQN4U will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Website or Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBQN4U’s total liability arising from a particular order or event will not exceed the amount the Client actually paid to BBQN4U for that order or event.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BBQN4U and its owners, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from the Client’s breach of these Terms, the Client’s negligence or unlawful conduct, unsafe venue conditions under the Client’s control, or the conduct of the Client’s guests, vendors, or invitees. This section does not require the Client to indemnify BBQN4U for BBQN4U’s own negligence or willful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the North Carolina county where BBQN4U maintains its principal place of business, unless applicable law requires another location.
Before filing a claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through written notice and informal discussion. Either party may seek relief in small-claims court when eligible or request emergency injunctive relief when appropriate.
By submitting an inquiry, accepting a quote electronically, making an online payment, or communicating with BBQN4U by email or text, you consent to conducting the transaction electronically. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information. Marketing messages, if any, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any consent you provide.
Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy before submitting personal information through the Website.
BBQN4U may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively and do not replace the terms of an already accepted catering agreement unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. The Client may not transfer a booking or assign an agreement without BBQN4U’s written consent. Headings are for convenience only.
If a written quote, invoice, or catering agreement conflicts with these Website Terms, the specific written terms of that document control for that order or event.
